Our Bolingbroke Park development sponsored this year’s Summer Arts Festival on Sunday, 12 July, at the Chickenshed theatre.
Chickenshed is a charitable theatre company that successfully runs outreach projects, education courses and membership programmes for young people from all social and economic backgrounds. The charity relies heavily on the generosity of foundations and trusts to continue its pioneering work.
Following the huge success of its free family festival last year, local arts groups once again came together for a celebration at the theatre in Cockfosters, which is right next to our Bolingbroke Park development.
Our Sales and Marketing team were at the event so that local people can find out more about this exciting new development right on their doorstep, launching this autumn. It will offer a collection of three and four bedroom townhouses and contemporary one, two and three bedroom shared ownership and private sale apartments set in landscaped gardens and woodlands.
The team hosted a ‘selfie’ competition, tea party and creative arts competition to encourage local children and their families to get involved. Local talents such as Ziggy’s Jazz Band who recently performed at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, Face Front theatre group and representatives from the Enfield Music Service were also at the festival.
You can find out more information about the Summer Arts Festival on the Chickenshed website.
